Devyn Marble attended Lathrup High School and lived in Southfield, Michigan. He opted to attend the University of Iowa, knowing there would be comparisons to his father, Iowa legend Roy Marble.

He had a prolific career at Iowa. He was a two-time team captain, finishing his career ranked fifth in Iowa career scoring (1,694) and free throws made (432), sixth in assists (397) and free throws attempted (595), and seventh in steals (176). He also played in 136 games, which tied for second all-time at Iowa. He tied a school record with six 3-pointers in a half vs. Michigan in 2014, His 31 points with seven 3-point FGs at Oregon in the 2012 NIT second round was the most points by a Hawkeye in an NIT game, and the most in a postseason game since Ed Horton netted 32 against NC State in double overtime in the second round of the 1989 NCAA Tournament.

He received all-conference honors in 2013 (3rd Team) and 2014 (First Team), and Second Team All-American honors in 2014.

He lived up to the pressure of following in his father's footsteps, as they became the only father-son 1,000-point scorers in Big Ten Conference history.

He was second-round draft pick of the Denver Nuggets in 2014, then was traded to the Orlando Magic, and appeared in 44 games over two seasons (2014-2016).

Born 9/21/1992 and is 32 years old.

All Conference: First Team (2014), 3rd Team (2013) All American: 2nd Team (2014) Drafted Round 2 by Denver Nuggets in 2014
