Sam Okey       

HIGH SCHOOL: Sam Okey attended Cassville High School and lived in or near Cassville, Wisconsin. He led his team to a 54-game winning streak and back-to-back WIAA Division 4 state titles in 1993-1994 and 1994-1995. He was named the state’s Mr. Basketball, earned All-American honors and played in the prestigious McDonald’s All-American game.

COLLEGE: He played three years for Wisconsin, earning Big Ten Freshman of the Year and back-to-back all-league second team honors. He transferred to Iowa to complete his final season, but suffered a wrist injury against Minnesota after playing in only seven games. He averaged 6.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

PROFESSIONAL: He played professionally for a few years in the CBA and internationally. In 2015, he was named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
