Quinn Early attended Great Neck South High School in West Hempstead, New York. He chose Iowa for the arts program and the uniforms that looked like the Pittsburgh Steelers.

At Iowa, he had 103 catches for 1813 yards, averaging 17.6 yards per catch, and had 13 touchdowns from 1984-1987. He earned first team All-Big Ten in 1987, was team captain his senior year, and was also a two-time Big Ten long jump champion for track.

He received his degree in Commercial Art at Iowa, and was commissioned by the University of Iowa to paint an oil portrait of Hayden Fry after his death in 2019.

He was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the third round of the 1988 NFL Draft, and played in 12 NFL seasons from 1988 to 1999 for the Chargers, Saints, Bills, and Jets. His best season as a pro was in 1995 as a member of the New Orleans Saints, where he caught 81 passes for 1,087 yards and 8 touchdowns. He still holds records for the Hawkeyes and Bills for longest catch of 95 yards.

Early fulfilled a promise to his mother, Ann Early to publish her book, Bryant Acres.

He was born 4/13/1965 and is 56 years old.
