D.J. Johnson        

HIGH SCHOOL: D.J. Johnson attended North Central High School and lived in or near Indianapolis, Indiana. He earned first-team all-conference and all-county honors as a junior and senior, and was named Most Valuable Defensive Back as a senior. He was also named first-team all-conference as a sophomore/ He was a team captain as a junior and senior, and lettered in basketball. He was a 3-star prospect, and no.1 ranked defensive back in the 2018 class for Indiana Preps. He chose the Hawkeyes over offers from LSU and Notre Dame.

COLLEGE: As a redshirt freshman at Iowa, he had 14 total tackles, and two pass deflections. In 2020, he transferred to Purdue.
