Greg Stokes      Ohio Wikipedia 

Greg Stokes attended Hamilton High School and lived in Hamilton, Ohio. He led Hamilton to a 25-1 record.

While at the University of Iowa, Stokes broke several university records including All-Time Scorer, Career Field Goal percentage, and Career Blocked shots. Stokes was a 3x All-Big Ten selection and had his jersey number 41 retired in 1985. He holds the mark for individual Field Goal percentage in a game when he went 11-11 from the floor in a game. He was also a member of the 1983 United States Gold medal Pan America basketball team.

He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round (33rd pick overall) of the 1985 NBA draft. Stokes played in 2 NBA seasons for the 76ers and Sacramento Kings. In his NBA career, Stokes played in 42 games and scored a total of 130 points. He also played professionally in Italy and Australia.

His daughter Kiah Stokes attended UCONN and played on multiple NCAA championship teams, and played four seasons in the WNBA. His son Darius Stokes attended Iowa as a walk-on.

Born 8/5/1963 and is 61 years old.
