Jimmy Rodgers        

HIGH SCHOOL: Jimmy Rodgers attended Franklin Park High School and lived in or near Franklin Park, Illinois. He was an all-state basketball player, and chose to play at Iowa.

COLLEGE: He became a three-year starter for the Hawkeyes and was named team MVP in 1964 and 1965. Durmg the 1963-64 season, he was the second highest scorer with a 13-point average, and led all free throwers with 82.9% accuracy. In 1964-65, he was 4th among Iowa scorers with a 12.3 average, but increased his free throw accuracy to 84.5%, setting an Iowa basketball record for a single season.

PROFESSIONAL: He later went on to coach in the NBA with the Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves (winning 6 NBA championships as an assistant coach with the Celtics and Chicago Bulls).
