Geno Sessi       

Position(s): RB

Geno Sessi attended St. Clairsville High School and lived in St. Clairsville, Ohio. In a recruiting miscommunication with Ohio State, he fortunately ended up at Iowa.

He is most famous for scoring 3 TDs on his first three touches in a blowout win over Utah State.

In the remaining eight games of the 1957 campaign, he only gained an additional 33 rushing yards and returned one kickoff for 17 yards. A knee injury in spring practice kept him out during the 1958 season.

Born 2/17/1938 and died on 11/23/2016 at the age of 78.
