Anthony Herron attended Bolingbrook High School and lived in Bolingbrook, Illinois. He was a regular starter in his last two seasons. As a senior in 2000, he was honorable mention All-Big Ten after making 64 tackles, three sacks, and two forced fumbles. In his college career, he had 172 tackles (including 19 for loss), 10 sacks, and one blocked kick. He also competed in the Blue-Gray All-Star game.
After Iowa, he signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent and spent three seasons with the team, and bounced around with other NFL teams. He later played Arena Football from 2004 to 2007.
After playing football, he has had a prolific career as a commentator for the Big Ten Network, Pac-12 Network, NFL Network and Sirius XM.
Born 9/24/1979 and is 45 years old.
