Nate Meier        

Nate Meier attended Fremont-Mills High School and lived in Tabor, Iowa. He was named the eight-man Player of the Year as a senior, and was first team all-state running back as a junior and senior, and captain of all-state team as a senior.

At Iowa, he played sparingly his first two seasons. In 2014, he started all 13 games and recorded 57 tackles, including 18 solo stops and 39 assists, including six tackles for loss and two sacks.

During his senior year, he started all 14 games at defensive end, and was 4th on the team with 76 tackles, including 31 solo stops and 45 assists. He was named third team All-Big Ten.
