RECAP

After falling behind by 6 points early in the game, the Hawks rallied back, going on a 14-0 run, and expanded it to a 22-2 run, taking a 27-13 lead. The Spartans came back, but Iowa held an 8-point lead on the #8 Spartans heading into halftime, and it looked like an upset was brewing on Senior Night. But the defense could not hold, giving up 61 points in the 2nd half, getting outscored by 14 points. In the 2nd half, Michigan State took control of the game when it regained the lead 59-58 after an 11-0 run.

Josh Dix led the Hawks with 18 points and seven rebounds, tying a career high. Seydou Traore and Payton Sandfort each added 15 points, and Sandfort grabbed seven rebounds. Pryce Sandfort added 12 points and grabbed a career high seven rebounds.
