RECAP

The game was back and forth in the first half, but Iowa went on a 15-1 run, ending with a lead of 11 points over the Spartans. They took a 12 point lead at halftime, and led by 16 points in the 2nd half, but MSU fought back to make it a 5 point game late, but could not get any closer. The Hawks have won two of the last three road games at Michigan State, and is only the 3rd win at the Breslin Center for coach Fran McCaffery (3-7 record). Iowa is only 4-25 all-time at the Breslin Center.

Ben Krikke scored 18 points shooting 7-of-11 (64%) from the field, and set a season high in rebounds with 14. Payton Sandfort led all scorers with 22 points, including 2 threes. Patrick McCaffery scored 14 points.
