Indiana's Armaan Franklin hit a game-winning shot with 2 seconds left to complete the sweep of the Hawks. Both teams shot around 36% from the field, but Indiana had 13 more attempts, 9 of those from the difference in offensive rebounds. They got off to a good start, leading 17-4 early in the game, and were up 31-24 late in the half, but gave up 7 unanswered points to fall behind by two at halftime. They pulled ahead by 10 points in the second half, but the Hoosiers rallied to take the lead with 1 minute remaining. Jordan Bohannon hit a clutch 3-pointer to tie the game at 65 with 27 seconds remaining, but were unable to force overtime. Joe Wieskamp and Luka Garza both had 18 points. Garza only had 2 points at halftime, but scored 16 in the second half. Iowa has now lost 4 of the last 5 games.
