RECAP

After winning easily the last two years, the Hawks struggled with Purdue, winning by only one touchdown. The game was scoreless until the 4th quarter, when Westley Fry rushed over the goal line for the only score of the game, and Darrell Fischer kicked the extra point. Twice Purdue had the ball inside the Iowa 5-yard line, but was unable to come away with any points. Iowa had the ball at the Purdue 8-yard line in the 2nd half, but also was unable to score.
