Iowa played the highly-ranked Wolverines close, but couldn't pull the upset. The biggest lead before the final 10 seconds (Iowa up by 5) came with 6:16 left in the game. The last six minutes, however, proved to be the turning point in the game. The Wolverines scored six unanswered points, including back-to-back slam dunks. With a chance to cut the lead to one, Andre Banks missed both free throws. He did lead the Hawks with 15 points on the night.
