RECAP

After starting the game shooting 10 of 14, and 4 for 4 from three point range, the Hawks took a 19-15 lead. They extended the lead to 28-22 at the halfway point of the first half, but Wisconsin went on a 21-4 run to lead 54-43 at halftime. The Badgers went on another run, 13-2 to start the second half, and led by 20 points. Iowa went on a 10-1 run to close the gap, but the Badgers kept pulling ahead, winning by 31 points, and scoring 62 points in the 2nd half. Wisconsin set a school record for most points scored in the Kohl Center.

Drew Thelwell scored 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting, just one point shy of tying his career high. Josh Dix finished with 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting while Owen Freeman added 14 points.
