The stakes were high as Wichita State came back for a win in the second round of the NCAA Midwest Regional. Shockers trailed at home 40-25 with 18:50 to play before going on a 15-0 run to tie the game at 40 with 11:38 remaining. Senior guard Randy Smithson made two free throws with :05 to play to break a 56-56 tie after a technical foul against the Hawkeyes, who had called a timeout, but didn't have any remaining. The highlights are from Wichita State, so there are no Iowa highlights.
