Jeff Horner scored 17 o his 20 points in the 2nd half to help the Hawks pull away from WCU. Iowa started quickly, jumping to a 22-3 lead, but only led by 7 points at halftime. They also struggled from the free throw line, hitting only 15 for 33 attempts. Greg Brunner added 11 points and 11 rebounds.
