RECAP

Dennis Mosley broke 3 records today. Passing Ed Podolak for the single season rushing record. He also set single season records for touchdowns (11) and points (72). Mosley set the scoring record in dramatic fashion. Scoring his lone touchdown on a 75 yard touch down pass from Phil Suess, with 8:32 left in the game. The score gave Iowa an 11 point lead which it would prove to be the winning score. Suess had started the game at quarterback threw for 3 touchdowns and 181 yards on the day.

Dennis Mosley The first thing I want to do is have the ball autographed by everyone in the offensive line. Then I'll have the rest of the team sign it. This is the first game ball I've ever gotten at Iowa, and later on in life I'll look back on it with a lot of pleasure. The three records I set make me feel real good, but I didn't get the one I wanted most of all. I'm still after that 1000 yard season.
