Iowa held Oregon scoreless for one 3 1/2 minute stretch, where Iowa extended it's lead to 50-38. Jerry Messick led Iowa in scoring with 15 points, while Joe Reddington scored 14.
The Hawkeyes will play Oregon State tomorrow night for the championship. The game is a rematch of a game played last weekend at the Kentucky Invitational Tournament.
