I liked Iowa City a lot and during my visit Coach Fry really brought everyone together, showed how everyone here is really part of the team. I looked for a university that offered a quality education, a school with a highly-respected reputation, and the type of coach I wanted to play for. The tradition of the Big Ten Conference played a major role in my decision. The reputation of Coach Fry, and the fact that Iowa is in a bowl game pretty much every year, were big factors for me. Knowing that Big Ten teams qualify for the best bowls, it helps you set goals, something to really work for. Its been everything I expected and more.
