Roger Jerrick       

HIGH SCHOOL: Roger Jerrick attended Campion High School and lived in or near Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He participated on the football, basketball and baseball teams while also spending time within the ROTC program.

COLLEGE: He joined the Hawkeye program in the fall of 1970 as a linebacker, but found more playing opportunity on offensive line. After spring camp finished in 1972, he would be the starting center for the next two seasons. He was a three-time letterwinner, and was voted a team captain in 1973.

OTHER: During college, he was part of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He passed away after a heroic battle with Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) and Parkinson’s disease. He donated his brain to The Concussion Legacy Organization via Boston University.

Born 4/24/1952 and died on 9/21/2024 at the age of 72.
