Sam H. Williams

Sam H. Williams attended Northern High School and lived in Detroit, Michigan. He was awarded a scholarship to Iowa. He attended Burlington (IA) Community College for two seasons (1964–1966).

During the 1967–68 season, he led the Big Ten in scoring with 25.3 points a game, and had a career high 39 points in a game against Northwestern.

He was drafted by the 3rd Round of the 1968 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, and played three seasons from 1968-1970. He was also selected for the United States Olympic Trials in 1969.

In 2003, he was inducted into the University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame.

Born 1/22/1945 and is 79 years old.
