From what I had heard from people in Dallas, Iowa was nothing but cornfields. When I came here, it was the change in environment that I liked. People were laid back. It was different, a lot of open land. I noticed there were no big buildings, no skyline. I wanted to talk to the players and see what it was like. I visited a Pac-10 school the week before visiting Iowa, it came down to them or Iowa. When I came here it was laid back and quiet. I realized it would be better for me to go to a quiet place with a relaxed atmosphere.
