Jim Caldwell         

Jim Caldwell attended Memorial High School and lived in Beloit, Wisconsin. He earned nine varsity letters as a three-sport athlete. He was part of a state championship basketball team, an undefeated football season and his 4x400 track squad that finished second in the state.

At Iowa, he started in the defensive backfield as a freshman and eventually held that starting position all four years. He had 8 interceptions in his career, and was named team captain in 1976. After playing, he stayed on as an assistant coach for the 1977 season.

He continued coaching at multiple colleges, including head coach of Wake Forest from 1993-2000. He became an assistant coach in the NFL, and eventually was named head coach of the Indianapolis Colts from 2009-2011, where he took the Colts to the AFC Championship and trip to the Super Bowl (where they lost to the Saints). He was on the staff of two Super Bowl winning teams Colts (2006) and Ravens (2012).
