Sam Phillips        

HIGH SCHOOL: Sam Phillips attended Cartersville High School and lived in or near Cartersville, Georgia. He was named honorable mention Class 5A All-State in 2020 and was All-Region 7. He helped his team reach the 2020 GHSAA 5A Championship game where he had a 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. In his senior season, he had 69 catches for 868 yards and five TDs. In his 3-year prep career, he had 122 receptions for 1,589 yards with 13 touchdowns (averaging more than 13 yards per catch). He also lettered in baseball.

COLLEGE: He played three seasons with the UT-Chattanooga before entering the transfer portal after the 2024 season. At Chattanooga, he had 153 receptions for 2,088 yards and nine touchdowns. In the 2024 season, he finished with 49 receptions for 803 yards and 3 TDs. His best game was against Georgia State, where he caught 8 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown.
