Megan Meyer        

HIGH SCHOOL: Megan Meyer attended Mason City High School and lived in or near Mason City, Iowa. She was a three-time all-conference selection and four-time all-state honoree. She earned the Globe Gazette Player of the Year twice (2017, 2018), and named to the Globe Gazette North Iowa Area Team in 2016. She was a Des Moines Register Player of the Year finalist (2019) and named to the 2016 Iowa State All-Tournament selection. She averaged 25.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 3.3 steals in 2018, and averaged 18.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.5 steals as a sophomore in 2017. She helped lead her team to a Class 4A State Championship as a freshman in 2016, averaging 10.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, and made the semifinals as a senior. She holds the single-game school records for 3-pointers made (7) and points in a game (40), and single-season records for 3-pointers in a season (71) and points in a season (602), and holds the career points record (1,882). She was also a state qualifier in track.

COLLEGE: She appeared in 40 career games during the 2020-21 season, averaging 8.8 minutes and 2.3 points per game.

She transferred to Drake for the 2021-22 season, and was named MVC Newcomer of the year and selected to All-MVC First Team after scoring in double-figures 23 times that season. Her career was cut short during the 2022-23 season after a season-ending knee injury.

OTHER: Her sister Makenzie Meyer also played basketball at Iowa.
