Abby Emmert         

HIGH SCHOOL: Abby Emmert attended Winterset High School and lived in or near Winterset, Iowa. She was a four-time starter and all-conference selection, and broke the career scoring and assists record at her school. She was named first team all-district and Iowa Newspaper Association (INA) and Des Moines Register first team all-state her senior year. She earned numerous all-state honors her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. As a junior, she averaged 19.2 ppg and 5.0 apg.

COLLEGE: She started 22 games, and played in 123 games in her 4-year career. She scored 299 career points, collected 144 rebounds and dished out 177 assists, including a career-high 17 points against Iowa State. She was a co-captain on the 2007-08 team, helping the Hawks to the Big Ten regular season championship, and earned the Dr. Christine Grant Leadership Award that season.

OTHER: She joined the Iowa women's basketball staff in 2009, serving in many roles, such as scouting, director of player development, director of operations and assistant coach.
