Lucy Olsen          

HIGH SCHOOL: Lucy Olsen attended Spring-Ford High School and lived in or near Collegeville, Pennsylvania. She was twice named first team All-State, and was a Third Team 6A All-State performer in 2018-19. She was named a three-time All-Area Player of the Year and was a four-time First Team Pioneer Athletic Conference honoree, leading her team to the conference title and state playoffs all four years, including the 2021 state championship game. She was the all-time leading scorer for both boys and girls with 1,699 points, and broke a single season school record for boys and girls with 543 points, and owns the school record with 379 career assists. She was named the 2021 Miss Basketball in Pennsylvania.

She also played first doubles on the tennis team, and was the PIAA state tennis champion in the fall 2020.

COLLEGE: At Villanova, in the 2022-23 season, she averaged 12.4 points per game, and was named 2nd team All-Big East.

She ended the 2023-24 season as the #3 scorer in the nation, averaging 23.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. She had a career-high 40 points against Temple, and career-high 5 steals against Xavier. She was named honorable mention All-American, and was unanimous first team All-Big East selection, along with earning the league's Most Improved Player. After leading her team to the WNIT Championship game, she entered the transfer portal, and signed with Iowa for the 2024-2025 season.

At Iowa, she had the challenge of filling the void left by Caitlin Clark, and had a spectacular season. She finished the season with 17.9 points per game, 5.1 assists per game and shot 36% from 3-point range. She was named unanimous All-Big Ten First-Team selection and Big Ten All-Tournament Team honoree. She eclipsed 2,000 career points, 500 career rebounds, and 500 career assists.

PROFESSIONAL: She was drafted in the 2nd Round of the WNBA draft by the Washington Mystics.
