Monika Czinano         

Monika Czinano attended Watertown-Mayer High School and lived in Watertown, Minnesota.

COLLEGE: As a freshman, she played behind former Hawkeye Megan Gustafson in the 2018–19 season, and took over the starting center position in 2019–20. She become the fifth Hawkeye to surpass 2,000 career points.

She was named Unanimous First Team All-Big Ten in 2023, and a first team selection the previous 3 seasons (2020-2022), and was twice named honorable mention All-American (2022 and 2023).

She and Caitlin Clark became the first pair of teammates to surpass 2,000 career points in the same season in Big Ten women's basketball history.

PROFESSIONAL: She was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks in the 3rd Round of the 2023 WNBA draft.
