Burt Britzmann

Burt Britzmann attended Hawarden High School and lived in Hawarden, Iowa. He lettered in football, basketball and track.

At Iowa, he was a defensive back as a sophomore, then switched to quarterback for his junior and senior seasons. He was the Nile Kinnick Scholarship Award winner from 1950-1953. He was named the Big Ten Medal of Honor winner in 1953.

Born 8/8/1930 and died on 3/18/2012 at the age of 81.
