Kaden Wetjen         

HIGH SCHOOL: Kaden Wetjen attended Williamsburg High School and lived in or near Williamsburg, Iowa. He earned all-state and all-conference honors as a senior running back, and earned all-state and all-conference honors as a junior wide receiver, and earned all-state and all-conference honors as a sophomore defensive back. He was a 3-year football letterman as running back, wide receiver and defensive back. He scored 31 touchdowns as a senior, with six interceptions on defense, and scored 13 touchdowns as a junior, with six interceptions on defense.

COLLEGE: He attended Iowa Western Community College in 2021, totaling 952 all-purpose yards with three touchdowns, with 18 receptions for 304 yards and one touchdown. He also had 31 punt returns for 459 yards and two touchdowns, with a long of 72 yards.

He had a breakout year in 2024, when he led the Big Ten in kick return yards and punt return yards. He also returned an 85-yard punt return touchdown against Northwestern. He amassed 888 return yards combined between kickoffs and punts, which ranked first in the FBS.
