HIGH SCHOOL: Henry Marchese attended Stevenson High School and lived in or near Vernon Hills, Illinois. He earned second-team all-state honors as a junior and senior, and first-team all-conference and all-area as a junior and senior. He holds school single-season records for receptions (63), yards (1,053), and touchdowns (16) and also recorded 303 yards on kickoff and punt returns. As a junior, he recorded 59 receptions for 981 yards and nine touchdowns. He was a team captain as a junior and senior, and also lettered twice in baseball.
