Steve Manders         

Steve Manders attended Archbishop Spalding High School and lived in Crofton, Maryland. He was named first team all-state as a senior and third team as a junior, and was named first team all-county and all-conference as a junior, earning team MVP as a junior and senior. He recorded 125 tackles as a senior (115 as a junior), with 27 tackles for loss and one interception, and had 150 rushing attempts for 789 yards and nine touchdowns.

After high school, he joined as a walk-on after attending Fork Union Military Academy for one year.

He had limited playing time during his career, and moved to fullback from linebacker during the 2014 preseason camp.

After Iowa, he pursued professional wrestling, going by the name of ""The Hawkeye" 1 Called Steve Manders," and later the "Cornbelt Cowboy."
