Mark Weisman           

Mark Weisman attended Stevenson High School in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He was a team captain who rushed 153 times for 1,657 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior, and 182 carries for 1,149 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior. He earned first team all-state, 2-time all-area and 2-time all-conference honors. After attending the Air Force Academy, he transferred to Iowa as a walk-on.

At Iowa, he worked his way up from 7th string running back to 1st team starter. He rushed for 217 yards on 27 carries vs. Central Michigan in 2012, and scored 3 TDs twice in two consecutive games, against Northern Iowa and Central Michigan in 2012.

He ended with 599 attempts for 2,602 yards and 32 rushing touchdowns, which ranks third in career rushing touchdowns, fourth in career attempts, sixth in rushing yards and 10th in career scoring when he left. He also earned 2nd team Academic All-American, and was named 3rd team All-Big Ten in 2013.
