Anthony Hitchens          

Anthony Hitchens attended Clearview High School and lived in Lorain, Ohio. He was named first team all-state, all-county and all-conference as a junior and senior and earned the Lorain County Golden Helmet Award. He holds school records for points in a season and career and most career yards. He collected 154 career tackles, including 12 QB sacks and recorded five interceptions, forced six fumbles, recovered six fumbles and scored four defensive touchdowns. He also led his team to a 10-1 record and a state championship as a junior.

He was a four-year letter winner at Iowa. In his first two years, he stayed mainly on special teams, before starting at linebacker as a junior and senior. In his career at Iowa he racked up 270 total tackles, including 124 as a junior which led the Big Ten Conference. He was named 2nd Team All-Big Ten as a senior.
