Greg Helmers         

Greg Helmers attended Pomeroy-Palmer High School and lived in Palmer, Iowa. He was a heralded recruit, named a Nike All-American, Starter High School All-Star and Dr. Pepper All-Star as senior, leading his team to the state championship. He graduated with career totals of 1,801 points, 921 rebounds and 328 blocks, all best in Pomeroy-Palmer history.

At Iowa, he saw limited action in his four seasons due to injuries and health issues. His best game was in 1994, when he scored 9 points and had 13 rebounds against Long Island.
