The letter from Iowa was one of the first college letters I received, so that put something in my mind right there. Coming here, it was my first visit, and I verbally committed on my first visit. When I got back home people asked, why did you commit. Later on, my parents, when they came here, when they saw the city and met the coaches and some of my teammates, they understood that its a nice town. It's a big difference from Chicago, which I needed to get away. I was surprised how nice the people were, and the coaches were nice, and I appreciated that.
