Jeremy Allen       

HIGH SCHOOL: Jeremy Allen attended Pike High School and lived in or near Indianapolis, Indiana. He had one condition for any school offering him a track and field scholarship. He wanted to walk on to the football team and Iowa allowed him that opportunity.

COLLEGE: After just one week of practice in the fall of 1997, he earned a full scholarship. He spent most of his time as a fullback, helping to rebuild the Iowa program. In 2001, he ran for 247 yards and four touchdowns, and caught 20 passes for 264 yards and four more TDs. His eight touchdowns were tied with Kahlil Hill for second-most on the team.

In track, he was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year (Indoor and Outdoor), was a four-time Big Ten Champion and five-time All-American in the shot put.

PROFESSIONAL: He spent parts of three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, and New Orleans Saints primarily on the practice squad, but some playing time with the Falcons. He also spent the 2004 season in NFL Europe with the Rhein Fire.
