Position(s): RB

HIGH SCHOOL: Ryan Terry attended Steubenville High School and lived in or near Steubenville, Ohio. He was an all-conference selection after running for 936 yards and 10 TDs as a senior. His career totals were 1,259 yards and 170 yards receiving. He also lettered 3 years in track.

He got interest from Illinois State and Kent State, but eventually signed with Tennessee State, and played for future NFL coach Rob Ryan, who was the running backs coach. After a successful freshman season, he was looking to transfer to a Big Ten school. He had interest from Indiana and Penn State, but ultimately felt Iowa was a better option to walk-on.

COLLEGE: He was awarded a scholarship in the spring of 1992, and later was voted co-captain of the 1994 football team.

Despite having Sedrick Shaw and Tavian Banks on the team, he completed 3 productive seasons at Iowa, where he carried 292 times for 1444 yards (4.9 average) and scored 12 rushing TDs. He also caught 39 passes for 256 yards (6.6 average) and 2 TDs (14 TD total).

PROFESSIONAL: He signed a free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals (reconnecting with Rob Ryan), and went on to have a successful NFL & CFL career playing for the Cardinals, Edmonton Eskimos (1998, 2001), Toronto Argonauts (1999-2000), and the Montreal Alouettes (2002).

Born 9/20/1971 and is 54 years old.

Joined as walk-on (non-scholarship)
