Damien Robinson          

HIGH SCHOOL: Damien Robinson attended Hillcrest High School and lived in or near Dallas, Texas. He earned first team all-conference, 2nd team all-state and was a Blue Chip All-American. He was named the Dallas Morning News Defensive Player of the Year, and was the team captain and MVP. He finished his prep career with 72 tackles and 3 interceptions as a senior, and scored 9 TDs (7 as a receiver). He chose Iowa over Michigan, Michigan State, Tennessee, Ohio State, UCLA and Texas A&M.

COLLEGE: He earned 1st team all-Big Ten as a senior at free safety. He finished with 14 career interceptions (4th all-time as of 2024), 291 tackels (183 solo, 108 assisted) and was a team MVP in 1996.

PROFESSIONAL: He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 4th round of the 1997 NFL Draft. He was later signed by the Buccaneers, where he spent 4 seasons. He finished his 8-year career with the Jets and Seahawks (last season was 2004).
