George 'Dusty' Rice       

George 'Dusty' Rice attended Oelwein High School and lived in Oelwein, Iowa. He had a breakout performance in 1951 against Purdue with 3 touchdowns. He returned the opening kickoff 102 yards, caught a 55-yard touchdown pass, and ran 69 yards for a touchdown. He earned the AP award for "Back of the Week."

After Iowa, he was drafted by the New York Giants in the 16th Round of the 1954 NFL Draft.
