George 'Dusty' Rice attended Oelwein High School in Oelwein, Iowa. He had a breakout performance in 1951 against Purdue with 3 touchdowns. He returned the opening kickoff 102 yards, caught a 55-yard touchdown pass, and ran 69 yards for a touchdown. He earned the AP award for "Back of the Week."

After Iowa, he was drafted by the New York Giants in the 16th Round of the 1954 NFL Draft.

Unknown death date, suspected 2017.

Born 9/15/1931 and is 92 years old.
