The fan support here is outstanding. they don't have this type of support at a lot of places and it was a factor in my decision. The caliber of football is strong. It's something you are in awe of at first, but after you get here you realize you can compete at this level. The tradition of Iowa football is the attraction. Bowl games are what college football is all about, it's the goal each season. You love the game, but I was really impressed with Iowa's history of bowl games, and of course, there's the Rose Bowl. I felt at Iowa I'd have the chance to reach those goals.
