HIGH SCHOOL: Bill Ennis-Inge attended Kirkwood High School and lived in or near Kirkwood, Missouri. He had 127 tackles, 10 sacks, 1 interception and 3 fumble recoveries as a senior, and named to the All-American team by SuperPrep, earned 2nd team all-state and first-team all-conference. As a junior, he had 78 tackles, 6 sacks and 3 fumble recoveries and was named second team all-conference. He also competed in track and basketball. He chose Iowa over Notre Dame, Purdue, Illinois and Missouri.

COLLEGE: He was named a co-captain as a senior and lead the Hawkeyes to a 9-3 record. He dedicated the 1996 season to his father and uncle, whom both passed away during the offseason before his senior year. He ended the season with 41 solo tackles and 26 assists, including 16 tackles for loss and 10 QB sacks.

He finished his Iowa career with 173 tackles, 37 tackles for a loss, and 24 sacks. He was named an honorable mention All-Big Ten performer after his senior season, and was a first-team Academic All-Big Ten member.
