Joe Mott          

Joe Mott attended Union High School and lived in Endicott, New York. He was named USA Today all-America honorable mention and first team all-state as a senior, along with team MVP after recording 156 tackles with three fumble recoveries and had 250 yards receiving as tight end.

At Iowa, he played significant time as a freshman and sophomore. As a junior in 1987, he had 52 tackles, two QB sacks, one fumble recovery and one interception, and was named honorable mention all-Big Ten by AP and UPI. In 1988, he was named First team all-Big Ten pick by AP and UPI, leading the Big Ten in QB sacks (10) and second in tackles for loss (21).

He was drafted by the New York Jets in the 3rd Round of the 1989 NFL Draft, and played two seasons as linebacker for the Jets and one season for the Green Bay Packers.
