Louis 'Lou' Matykiewicz

Louis 'Lou' Matykiewicz attended Calumet Park High School and lived in Calumet Park, Illinois. He started as quarterback and linebacker during the two platoon system; then switched offensive positions to tight end. He had the unique distinction of leading the conference in both interceptions thrown and caught in the same season.

He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 20th round of the 1955 NFL draft.

Born 12/1/1933 and died on 5/22/2022 at the age of 88.
