Iowa fell behind 21-10 with 9 minutes left after Maryland went on a 15-0 run. Iowa went on an 15-5 run to end the half, trailing by only 1 point. The Terrapins still led by 4 points after 3 minutes in the 2nd half, but the Hawks went on a 21-0 run to take control of the game and snap their 3-game losing streak, and get revenge for an earlier loss to Maryland this season.

Cooper Koch scored a career-high 19 points (5 threes) after missing his first 7 attempts, and Bennett Stirtz added 17 points.
