RECAP

Hawks score late on a touchdown pass from Wilburn Hollis to Sammie Harris with only 52 seconds remaining to hold off the 12th-ranked Badgers. There was some debate to whether the Hawkeyes were offsides on the play. Iowa just had a touchdown called back on the previous play for offsides, as well as having another touchdown earlier in the game called back for a penalty.

Wisconsin scored the first touchdown of the game. Then Iowa rallied to score three consecutive touchdowns to take a 21-7 lead. Iowa allowed Wisconsin to score two touchdowns off Iowa mistakes to tie the game up in the fourth quarter, before Iowa ended up scoring the go ahead touchdown with :52 left in the game.

Iowa outrushed the Badgers 161 to 134, but did give up 125 passing yards to Wisconsin. The win elevated Iowa to the No. 1 ranking in the nation. Clips from highlights run from 26:22-27:01.
