RECAP

The game between two ranked teams was tightly contested, with multiple lead changes and each team led an equal amount of time. Michigan State managed to pull away late in the fourth quarter, but poor free throw shooting kept the Hawks in the game. The Hawkeyes had with a chance to win with seconds remaining, but Lucy Olsen's shot just missed. The Spartans remained undefeated at 10-0, their best start in school history.

Hannah Stuelke led Iowa with 18 points and 8 rebounds, but struggled with foul trouble. Olsen scored 13 points and Kylie Feuerbach added 12 points. Iowa committed 23 turnovers, leading to 14 points for Michigan State.
