RECAP

Penn State had an early 9-0 run in the first quarter. The Hawkeyes started the second quarter with seven straight points, which led to a 2-point halftime lead. The 3rd quarter was back-and-forth. Taylor McCabe hit back-to-back threes to give the Hawkeyes their largest lead of the day at seven points, but the Nittany Lions rallied to tie it the game 55-55 to start the 4th quarter. Iowa pulled away with the victory with their own 9-0 run, and won by 12 points.

McCabe led the team with 17 points, hitting five three-pointers. Addi O’Grady scored 16 points on a perfect 8-8 shooting and Hannah Stuelke achieved a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
