Iowa's travel woes continued in Columbus, as they suffered another double-digit road loss. They fell behind by 10 points in the first half but only trailed by 4 at halftime. But things got worse. The Hawks fell behind by 25 points with less than 5 minutes left. The offense was mostly to blame, shooting 39% from the field and 28% from 3-point range. They also struggled with free throws, going 10-of-17 (59%).

Drew Thelwell led the Hawks with 20 points on 8-of-10 from the field and 3-of-4 from 3-point range. Seydou Traore scored 11 of his 13 points in the 2nd half. Owen Freeman finished with 14 points. Surprisingly, Josh Dix was held scoreless and missed 7 shots.
